Adapters / chargers
Left them at home? Just ask our ambassadors. We have a selection of chargers and adaptors here at the Reception in Teufelhof.

Ambassadors
If you have any questions, suggestions or requests you can get in touch with our ambassador team 24 hours a day on the number 061 313 00 11. We will be happy to deal with your request.

Arrival at the hotel after 23h
For security reasons we shut the entrance door at 23h. If you arrive at the hotel afterwards, please ring the bell next to the entrance gates from the Waldhaus beider Basel (In der Hard). Our night porter will be happy to open the entrance gates for you.

Assembly point
In the event of an evacuation, the assembly point is the parking lot in front of the Waldhaus builidng.

Bed linen
For long-term stays, your bed linen will be changed once a week. However, at your request, the bed linen can be changed daily.

All comforters are contemporary and well-maintained.
If you need additional comforters, please notify the Ambassadors.

Monday to Friday 07:00 to 10:00 am
Saturday to Sunday 07:00 to 10:00 am

Our ambassador will be happy to assist you.

Check-out
We kindly request that you check out by 12 noon at the latest on your day of departure. If you would like to stay longer in Basel, you can store your luggage with our ambassadors.

Coffee machine
Free use of the coffee machine.

Concierge
Are you looking for something really special? A helicopter flight over Basel for example, or perhaps just flowers for your room? We are happy to help you with any enquiries about your stay. Contact our ambassadors in the lobby. If it’s something really quirky, we also work together with Savoir Faire’s private concierge services.

Darken your room
All rooms have an opaque curtain with which you can darken your room.

Desk
In all rooms there is a desk with accessible socket and a desk lamp for sufficient light.

Ironing board
We are happy to bring an iron and ironing board to your room for you. Please contact our Ambassadors.

Laundry
You have the option of having your laundry washed and/or ironed by us for you. You’ll find a laundry list in your wardrobe. Ironing can be done within an hour and we can carry out dry cleaning within 12 hours. Please contact Reception.

Luggage service
We are happy to help you with your luggage - please contact our ambassadors.

Mattress
All mattresses are contemporary, well-kept and consist of an elastic spring system with a total height of at least 18 cm thickness.

Minibar
All products of the minibar as well as water, coffee and tea are included in your room rate. You are welcome to help yourself:

Mobility Ticket
Still nothing planned during your stay at the Waldhaus beider Basel? Pillow menu
On your bed you’ll find a firm hollowfibre pillow (anti-allergy) and a soft feather pillow with down. 

All pillows are deep cleaned annually or purchased new as needed.

Pets
Do you need a bowl or a dog bed? Please contact us - we’ll be happy to help. 

Public transport
You will also be given a Mobility ticket for the duration of your stay.

Room cleaning
Room cleaning: Unless you have chosen not to have the daily room cleaning, your room will be cleaned by 3pm. Simply hang the "please make up my room" sign on your doors! Would you prefer not to be disturbed? Then simply hang up the "please do not disturb" sign.

Please note that if the “Please do not disturb" sign is on your door until 3pm, then your room will not be cleaned.

If you do not want to have your room cleaned for the sake of the environment, you may hang out the « I do need my room to be cleaned » sign.

Room service
Would you like to stay in for a change but not have to cook? It can be arranged! Treat yourself and enjoy a meal from the Teufelhof restaurant in the comfort of your own room. Drinks can be ordered around the clock and food until 9.30 pm to be brought to your room. For room service there is an additional charge of CHF 5.00 per order. Please find the menu here:

Safe
In all rooms there is a safe where you can safely store your valuables.

Sewing Kit
You will find a sewing kit in your room for small sewing jobs.

Smoking
We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is forbidden throughout the entire hotel unless in the outdoor area of the hotel, as well as on the balcony of your room (if available). If you are smoking inside, we will charge a special cleaning fee of CHF 500.00.

Seminars
The Waldhaus offers different rooms for events. These combine the beautiful atmosphere, the best designer furniture and the most modern technical infrastructure. Contact us for more information.

Stay fit
You would like to keep fit during your stay at the Waldhaus?
We will be happy to recommend optimal jogging routes, a vitaparcours as well as walking and hiking trails in the Hardwald and surroundings.

Taxis
We are happy to order a taxi for you on request. The taxi can be paid for in cash or with a credit card. The cost of a journey to the station is approx CHF 20 and takes around 15 minutes. The ride to the airport costs about 50 CHF and takes about 15-20 minutes.

Towels
Your room is cleaned every day and provided with fresh towels. If you don’t need fresh towels, please hang up your towels. We will only change towels which are on the floor

Telephone
To call another room, dial 6 and then the three digit room number. To make external calls, choose the desired number.

Toietries
Have you forgotten anything? A selection of toiletries is available from us (toothbrushes, razors etc.) Please don’t hesitate to contact Reception if you have left anything at home.

TV
You will find the TV controls on your bedside table.

Umbrellas
If it rains, ask our ambassadors for one of our umbrellas.

Wake-up service
We are happy to give you a telephone wake-up call by agreement. Please tell our ambassadors what time you would like to be woken up.

Wi-Fi
We are pleased to provide you with free Wi-Fi. You don’t need a password to sign in.
